Koffer Walter Jungleib | Suitcase Walter Jungleib

Walter Jungleib was one of the "Children of the Bullenhuser Damm". He was born in Hlohovec in the former Czechoslovakia in 1932. During the war, he and his family were persecuted by the SS. He was deported to Auschwitz, where he and nineteen other children were selected and brought to the Neuengamme Concentration Camp. There, SS-Doctors used them for medical experiments. In the night of the 20th April 1945, the children, their nurses and other prisoners were murdered in the Basement of the school on the Bullenhuser Damm to hide the cruel crime.
