Right-wing violence in Hamburg from 1945 to the present
In Germany, more and more right-wing extremist convictions are once again being expressed openly. Acts of right-wing violence are also menacingly on the increase. This exhibition tells the stories of those affected by right-wing violence in Hamburg. It also takes a look at the protagonists and the networks of old and new Nazis. It illustrates the trend in right-wing violence in Hamburg over the decades since the end of the Second World War, but also highlights the determined resistance by the general public and the city government.
The content of this exhibition is the foundation of the research project "Hamburg rechtsaußen. Rechtsextreme Gewalt- und Aktionsformen in, mit und gegen städtische Gesellschaft 1945 bis Anfang der 2000er Jahre".
