Biography Roman Zeller

A list of children’s names in the concentration camp Neuengamme which was published in the book Rapport fra Neuengamme in Denmark in 1945 includes the name Zeller for a twelve year-old boy from Poland. On his stat sheet for this boy, Dr. Heißmeyer, who did medical experiments with the children, noted the initials “R. Z.” The child’s first name was probably Roman. Roman Zeller was murdered on Bullenhuser Damm on 20 April 1945 along with 19 other children.
