Biography Riwka Herszberg

This journal contains deepening material of the exhibition at the memorial site Bullenhuser Damm. Riwka Herszberg was one of twenty children, who were murdered on 20th April 1945 at Bullenhuser Damm. Riwka Herszberg was born on 7 June 1938 in Zdunska Wola near Łódz in Poland. Her father, Mosze Herszberg, managed a small textile factory there. In the summer of 1944, Riwka and her parents were deported to Auschwitz via Piotrków Trybunalski.
